We are presently providing business management to artists and individuals.  Additionally we have been providing accounting and tax consulting services to the music industry for over 25 years.  Our clients include all facets of the business - artists, record executives, recording studios, publishing companies, writers and musicians.

Please not one very important point.  We are Certified Public Accountants - not bookkeepers or service bureaus.  With that in mind, you should realize that every transaction is considered from one most important viewpoint: "Will it fly for tax purposes?"  Since we are CPAs, we do not need to refer to other professionals to accomplish tax representation before the Internal Revenue Service or to perform royalty audits.

  • All monies are collected from the booking agencies and from the road manager and properly accounted for.
  • Appropriate payments are made to managers and investors.
  • All monthly bills - personal and business - are paid.
  • All tax filings are prepared and reviewed before the Internal Revenue Service is contacted, if necessary.
  • Should the artist travel overseas, appropriate arrangements are made with foreign taxing authorities to minimize the foreign tax.
  • Insurance for workmens compensation, general liability, etc. is obtained and reviewed. we also work with AFTRA and SAG for insurance coverage claims.
  • Monthly financial statements are prepared and reviewed with the artist.
  • Royalty audits on publishers, labels, etc. are conducted when deemed necessary.
  • Negotiations with financial institutions for business and personal loans are conducted.
  • We assist you in obtaining deficit tour support and other advances from the label.
  • We review all contracts with your legal counsel to insure that the artist is being paid in accordance with the contract.
  • We assist your legal representative in renegotiating the contract should the occasion arise.
  • We work with various investment counselors to insure that excess funds are invested to obtain the best return for your money.
  • We will work with you concerning the formation or maintenance of retirement plans.
